Hello! Thank you for stopping by. Take a look around, and please reach out if my background and experience would be a good fit for your project .
About me:
I have worked in higher education for twenty years. I am an innate organizer/planner, life-long learner and a resourceful self-starter. I'm a first generation college student who returned to school as a working adult to earn a graduate certificate in instructional design and an MS in Education in an online program. I transitioned into instructional design, working in my first ID role while a grad student.
How I serve the project
I inquire about the project vision, distill learning outcomes and integrate best practices and strategies that are a conduit to learning and engagement. I continue to learn and grow professionally with the goal to create the most inclusive and equitable learning experiences.
My life outside work
I enjoy exercise in the local aquatic center pool, cooking, educational programming, PBS, NPR, and a good cooking or home design show. I have paddled for many years and my favorite recreational activity is river kayaking.

Educational Philosophy
Constructivist pedagogy recognizes the importance of knowledge building upon prior knowledge to facilitate learning. The intersection of the social ecological model and cognitivism, supported by a constructivist pedagogy, is what informs a basis for my educational philosophy as an ID.
